About Our Animal Hospital
We treat your pet like family
Ithaca Animal Hospital has been serving Gratiot County and surrounding areas for over 50 years. The hospital has been under the loving care and watchful eye of Dr. John Cresswell for the last 33 years. Recently, however, Dr. Cresswell has decided to retire in order to enjoy more time with his family. He has entrusted the historic location and vibrant practice to the new owner, Dr. Scott Goetgeluck.

I’m so glad I was able to get my dog in here. After taking him to a vet that left me with no answers it was so nice to be treated with kindness and to have my dog treated respectfully and finally get a treatment plan for him. As for pricing, it costs me less to get all the tests done and the correct meds than it did for just an office visit and the wrong meds that would maybe help at the other place so we will be using them as our regular vet from now on.

The excellent staff at Ithaca Animal Hospital cared for Gemini beautifully, and let her have a piece of my clothing (to smell) the whole time she was there. They were so friendly with her…and me. Post surgery instructions were explained clearly and the surgical site was clean. It’s been 5 days and she’s doing well. Thanks to this practice!
