Dr. Rachel Wenzel
Veterinarian
Dr. Rachel Wenzel graduated with her doctorate from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a Michigan native and grew up in the Saginaw area. Dr. Wenzel specializes in and enjoys preventative medicine, client education, and surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, visiting Michigan state parks, and spending time with her four dogs, two cats, a rabbit, and a fish.
Dr. Amy Wildrose
Dr. Amy Wildrose earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University and has 25 years of experience caring for dogs and cats. She has additional training in animal physical therapy and is Fear Free certified allowing her to provide a low-stress approach that supports both physical healing and emotional well-being for every pet.
Dr. Wildrose chose veterinary medicine as a way to combine her love of science and animals into a meaningful career. She believes it’s important for every client to understand that pets can experience pain or discomfort without immediate apparent signs, making careful observation and preventive care essential.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Wildrose is an accomplished triathlete. She has completed many races, including two Ironman competitions, and is currently training for her third.
Jessica
Jessica has been practicing in the veterinary field for 12 years. She has been in management for 9 years. She loves educating the clients and staff. She also loves helping the team out by seeing patients. In her free time, she loves camping with her family, outdoor activities, and spending time with all of her animals. Jessica loves being a part of this great Ithaca Team!
Julia
Julia has been working at Ithaca for four months and is a veterinary assistant. She started with us job shadowing in 2021. Julia went to school at Alma College. She loves working with and helping large breed dogs. In her free time, she likes running, hanging out with her dogs, and her sisters.
Rachael
Rachael is a certified veterinary assistant through animal behavior college and has been an assistant since 2019. She enjoys being a part of the vet med team and making a difference for animals. She hopes to someday be an LVT. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her sister, husband and many fur babies or helping out at her church.
Taylor
Certified Veterinary Assistant
Taylor has been a veterinary assistant for 2 years. She loves to help all animals when she can. Taylor is a mother of three boys. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies and being outdoors.
Kellie
Kellie has a love for her 8 furr babies, and her busy 13-year-old. Her favorite breed is the cocker spaniel. She loves helping people and animals in general. She strives to help people find the best care for their pets!
