Dr. Scott Goetgeluck
Practice owner and veterinarian Dr. Scott Goetgeluck (the last name is pronounced as “Good-luck”) graduated with his doctorate from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a Michigan native and grew up in a rural town reminiscent of Ithaca. Dr. Goetgeluck is particularly interested in dentistry, surgery, and the so-called “bully breeds.” In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, hiking, and doing home renovation projects, muscle cars, and motorcycles. He has a Pitbull named Mira, who he describes as energetic, sweet, full of life, and always good for a laugh.
Dr. Rachel Wenzel
Dr. Rachel Wenzel graduated with her doctorate from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a Michigan native and grew up in the Saginaw area. Dr. Wenzel specializes in and enjoys preventative medicine, client education, and surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, visiting Michigan state parks, and spending time with her four dogs, two cats, a rabbit, and a fish.
Dr. Joseph Sanchez
Dr. Sanchez grew up in mid-Michigan. Before veterinary school, he worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician at MSU’s Veterinary Medical Center in the emergency and critical care department and the radiology department. Dr. Adam Dorr
Dr. Adam Dorr is an Associate Veterinarian with 10 years of experience in Dairy Practice, both in private and industry settings. He graduated from Michigan State University’s Veterinary School and has since developed a keen interest in preventive medicine and internal medicine to promote the overall health and wellness of his patients.
Dr. Dorr takes pride in providing high-quality, compassionate, and low-stress care to his patients, while also ensuring that their owners are informed and educated about their pet’s health and treatment plans.
In his free time, Dr. Dorr enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife Kayla and their 5-year-old son Teddy. Together they enjoy a range of outdoor activities, such as boating, swimming, camping, hiking, backpacking, and skiing, as well as playing board games.
As a fun fact, Dr. Dorr walked onto the Michigan State Football Team for the 2004-2005 season. He also has three pets, two dogs named Rudy and Oh’ Petes, and a cat named Bear. Adam has lived and worked in the mid-Michigan area, specifically Eagle and Middleton, for about 10 years and is proud to call it home.
Sierra has over five years of customer service experience. She joined our team as a Receptionist, was promoted to Vet Tech, and is now our Office Manager. Her favorite part of the job is interacting with clients and their pets. Outside work, she runs a fox rescue with several species of foxes. She enjoys spending time with her two Pitbulls, Snow and Luxury, drawing, and photography.
Sara has been in veterinary medicine for about nine years. She enjoys the mystery of trying to find the problem in someone who can’t tell them what’s wrong. The most satisfying part of this line of work is bringing the puppies and kittens back to their normal selves.
Christie has been practicing for one and a half years and gives the best and correct medicine to every patient she sees. She likes to hang out with her husband and four dogs in her free time and go hiking or swimming.
Sharina takes pride in learning new things. Being new in the vet world can be scary, but she’s thankful to work with amazing and helpful people. She likes to spend time with her husband and daughters; she also enjoys traveling to new places, riding motorcycles, and almost any craft.
Taylor is our receptionist at Ithaca Animal Hospital. She prides herself in being able to help animals out and, in her free time, enjoys being outdoors and watching movies.
